The duty of a planning commission for a community is to protect the health, safety and welfare of it's residents. Yet when asked about the complaints of the people in Michigan Wind 1 (Ubly) and how the county has handled it, all Russ can say is that it is out of the county's hands, it is in the courts.   Isn't that a shame...the very people who approved the entirely inadequate zoning regulations have put their neighbors in a living nightmare where their only recourse is to spend their money to seek justice through the legal system...a long, drawn out and costly process that only makes attorneys rich.  And for you skeptics, Ubly is not the only community involved in a legal battle against a wind developer.  Over time, as these developments continue to push their way into communities with their lies and deceit, the only people who will benefit will be attorneys.
