Residents Against Wind

Local farmers, residential property owners and business owners have formed a committee, Residents Against Wind.  Members of this committee want to protect the quality of life enjoyed by residents of Huron County for generations.  Their immediate goal is to see the defeat of the two proposed wind overlay districts that will be put to voters on the November General Election ballot.

CWE (Citizens for Wind Energy) is backed by corporate interests with deep pockets as evidenced by their pre-election campaign finance statement.  Are the citizens of Huron County ready to hand over our county to DTE, Heritage Sustainable Energy of Traverse City, Midland Energy and other outside interests?
