Huron County commissioners are worried about potential loss of revenue if personal property taxes are eliminated in Michigan.  Maybe this is just what is needed so local governments are not so easily misled to support these developments ...the Michigan Townships Association will lobby hard to defeat any such proposal - at least as far as IWT's are concerned - but it will be up to the people to urge their local state officials that they should support such legislation....unless anyone can see a downside to this, in which case, please let me know.  In Huron County and Lake Township the major factor for supporting these is the money it will bring to the township.
